‘‘It’s crazy, really hard to think about,’’ she said. But I can remember all the days with my brothers [in Clarkston, Michigan], clearing out the snow to have something to shoot at. I think about that and about all my teammates and coaches through the years.

But Anna lives on, in a way, as the actress who played her continues to pick up steam. The strength of their romance put them at No. 13 in Looper's ranking of "Chicago Fire" relationships, and Anna's passing remains one of the One Chicago world's best-remembered deaths. For 12 episodes, Sullivan starred as the main character's sister, Nicole Mitchell. In 2011, Sullivan had her sultriest outing yet in "The Kennedys" as none other than Marilyn Monroe. The eight-hour miniseries chronicles the famous political family, with Greg Kinnear starring as JFK and Katie Holmes playing Jackie. Much like the Kennedys themselves, the series courted a fair amount of drama, not the least of which involved the show's Republican producer Joel Surnow (via Toronto Life).

2011 also saw the release of "Citizen Gangster." A chronicle of Canada's most notorious bank robber, the film stars Scott Speedman as gangster Edwin Alonzo Boyd. Sullivan channels Monroe here as well, playing Mary Mitchell, a blonde seductress with inner demons. "Citizen Gangster" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, taking home the award for Best Canadian First Feature Film (via IMDb). Ultimately, the pair found their way back to each other after Anna's father asked Severide not to give up on his daughter. Midway through season 11, Kelly Severide (played by Taylor Kinney) was sent out of town to attend an arson investigation training programme but his comeback has been delayed. Taylor Kinney as Kelly Severide in the “Carry Me” episode of Chicago Fire. “[Taylor’s] so down-to-earth and lovely and normal, and he plays the role so well,” says Charlotte Sullivan, who portrayed Severide’s girlfriend Anna. But it's all for naught, as Anna takes a sudden turn for the worse.

There isn’t a WNBA-level pro option for Scane, but she has her sights set on representing her country when lacrosse returns as an Olympic sport in Los Angeles in 2028. After graduating, she plans to spend at least a year instructing up-and-coming players at camps and clinics around the United States. To her, breaking the record at home would be, more than anything else, a thank-you to all the people in her lacrosse life. The Wildcats won seven national titles in eight seasons from 2005 to 2012, then none until 2023. Scane is the name and face of this renaissance, though she is surrounded by excellence.
Indeed, that’s how college basketball’s most prolific scorer, Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, and college lacrosse’s soon-to-be most prolific scorer, Scane, met and became friendly acquaintances. They have a serious history together; they may have killed their mother, who had mental illness. Thelma and Louise came to mind when I read the script. Severide’s suffering intensified exponentially in Tuesday’s episode, “Carry Me,” when he lost his beloved girlfriend Anna (Charlotte Sullivan) to her recurring cancer.
"I love that Violet went to Severide. She knew he would understand how she feels regarding grief. Kelly really is the best," @justwrite115 wrote. Severide starts off the conversation by telling Violet about Anna (Charlotte Sullivan), his girlfriend from Season 5, who passed away from leukemia. He also mentions the loss of Shay (Lauren German), who was the first big death in "Chicago Fire." If anyone can empathize with Violet, it's Severide, and he helps her start the process of moving on. They connect later in Severide's quarters at the firehouse, and it looks like we might see a lot more of this duo as time goes on.
Chicago Fire Fans Are In Tears Over Violet And Severide's Bond In Season 11 Episode 4
This post contains spoilers for the May 2 “Carry Me” episode of Chicago Fire. Do not read further if you haven’t watched the hour.
In the fourth episode, titled "The Center of the Universe," Lieutenant Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) shows up at Violet's (Hanako Greensmith) doorstep and tells her he understands what she's going through. At this point, he mentions his old girlfriend, Anna Turner. Plus, stick around to find out what happened to Anna. Season 11 of Chicago Fire is in full swing, and some of our favorite characters have already been through the wringer. Although most fans are still trying to process the unexpected tragic death of Paramedic Chief Evan Hawkins (Jimmy Nicholas), others are reeling over the reference to a character from the past. Her path crossed with Severide when he was visiting the hospital on a job and after getting to know one another, he came to her rescue when she needed a bone marrow transplant to survive.
He also brings up Anna when Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) is in deep mourning for Evan Hawkins (Jack Nicholas) after his sudden, heartbreaking death in Season 11. After Anna Turner's passing, Kelly Severide moves on with Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), eventually marrying her. In Season 6's "Looking for a Lifeline," Kelly travels to Springfield to visit the Anna Turner Wing, obviously named in her memory.
Anna Turner (Charlotte Sullivan) was Severide's girlfriend in Season 5 of Chicago Fire. The bone marrow donation helped Anna initially, and the chemistry between her and Severide led them to develop a romantic relationship. The strength of their romance put them at No. 13 in Looper’s ranking of “Chicago Fire” relationships, and Anna’s passing remains one of the One Chicago world’s best-remembered deaths.
Fans couldn't get enough of these two together and let their thoughts be known on Twitter. The squad never backs down from a rescue mission, but their tear-jerking sacrifices and personal heartbreaks have been devastating to the characters and One Chicago fans alike. After 11 white-knuckling seasons, look back on 11 of the most heart-shattering Chicago Fire deaths. Anna Turner (Charlotte Sullivan) worked out of the 51.
And that is the time everyone wants to come and meet your baby and I didn’t want to see anybody. Everyone was expecting me to bounce back into shape, and I just felt horrible. I didn’t want to be in front of the camera. I just…there’s such a magnetism for the pilot episode.
Because everything else is out of their hands. But playing Marilyn…I got a lot of flack for that. So it doesn’t really matter truly what you look like, because it’s such a contrived makeup that it’s honestly like a paint-by-numbers type of thing. The whole team of people who put me together for that…they are just the most insanely talented people. Nicole, we learn from Charlotte in our interview below, was a well-constructed look.
